We are pleased to inform you that the version 1.2 Beta 5 of C#/XAML for HTML5 - the extension for Visual Studio that lets you build cross-platform HTML5 apps in standard C# and XAML - is available for download!
Learn More about C#/XAML for HTML5.
Here is what's new since v1.2 Beta 4:
- Much improved ability to import TypeScript Definition files in order to interact with JS libraries as if they were written in C# (see documentation)
- Improved performance of XNode.ToString() and formatted XML serialization
- Improved the experimental classes "Cshtml5_XmlReader" and "Cshtml5_XmlWriter"
- The Simulator no longer crashes when an unhandled exception is raised in the user code
- Fixed an issue where setting DataGrid.ItemsSource to null (after initialized with a collection) caused an exception.
- Other minor bug fixes
We are also working on many other features and we will release them as soon as they are ready.
