Clarification needed of the syntax of resources referencing

Postby Sesztak » Wed Aug 03, 2016 3:52 am

Dear JS-Support,

Clarification needed of the syntax of resources referencing (e.g. for js, audio, image, etc. resources in project ):
ms-appx:

Q1., how many /// ? // (two) és /// three or / (one)?
"ms-appx://AssemblyName/Folder/Filename.js"
or
"ms-appx:///AssemblyName/Folder/Filename.js"

Sometimes you (and others) write two slash (//), sometimes three slash (///) or one slash (/).
see:
viewtopic.php?f=6&t=1468&p=1866&hilit=ms+appx%3A#p1866
and
viewtopic.php?f=4&t=5520&p=6095&hilit=ms+appx%3A%2F%2F%2F#p6095
and:
viewtopic.php?f=6&t=28&p=28&hilit=ms+appx%3A#p28

Q2., "Build Action" what is the right settings ? you mention "Resource"
-our experience: If we set it to 'Content': it's working as well (why this is important?: because this is the default VisualStudio setting if you add an image, js, audio, etc. file to you project folder or subfolder).

Q3., it is the only way to use ms-appx: syntax to referencing 'projects file' content ?

Waiting for your kind reply,
Best Regards,
Péter
