Thanks for this fantastic project!

I develop lob applications in VB, or C#, and have a big application in C# over Lightswitch. It works perfect in Silverlight, but in the Lightswitch HTML client does not, because this client does not allow C# or VB business logic, forcing me to port the core program to javascript, a very long way, which I'm not even sure it is possible.

You can see my demo app, a commercial printing estimator at

There is hope that Lightswitch generated code could run over C#/XAML for HTML5?

It would be an instant hit for many of us that inverted long time learning and programming Lightswitch, and a new future for it, that is a beatuful tool.

Hi Litoplan,

Welcome to the forums and thanks for the compliments!

Yes, Lightswitch support is on the roadmap of C#/XAML for HTML5. We expect to start working on it in the second half of 2015, after the most requested features have been implemented. Please make sure to vote for Lightswitch support on

Thanks again!

Best regards,
