I'm a very experienced C# developer with good WPF and XAML skills but very limited JavaScript/Browser knowledge, so...

Is it possible to develop "plugins" which can run in any browser using C#/XAML for HTML5?

I'd be interested in being able to do this and be able to have shared C# source code which can be reused for ordinary desktop apps (that is be able to develop MVVM models and view models which I can reuse for desktop, browser hosted app (like the calculator demo) and "plugins".

Any info much appreciated, I'm exploring the beta and look forward to working with this technology.

Hi Korporal,

Thanks for your message and welcome to the forums.

Can you please elaborate on what you mean by "plugin"? Are you referring to a browser extension (ie. a component that extends the features of a web browser such as the Chrome Extensions), or are you referring to a plugin for CSHTML5 that is intended to be used by other CSHTML5 users in order to extend the features of CSHTML5, or something else?
