As far as the release date is concerned, we are working hard to release the Beta2 as soon as possible, but we may need some more time to fine-tuned the new features.

Thanks a lot for your message.

The Beta1 did not support the XAML designer.

The Beta2, which will be available in the next few weeks, will feature a working XAML "Preview Pane" above the XAML code editor.
